    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Las Vegas, NV) in July 2018.

    Interview

I’ve applied numerous times over last couple years and have been requested to take the questionnaire as well as video interviews. Finally got an email to come in for face to face :) ... it was a group interview of about 10 and they took us back individually after explaining the company and job expectations. I interviewed with supervisor and it went nice I thought. They advised us they would contact whomever they chose within 24 hours ( which were a total of 10 positions to be filled and 2 groups interviewing that day of approx 25 out of over 300 applicants) got a call next day offering job. Today I did finger printing and tomorrow I will do agility test and drug test as well as badging :)

    Baggage Handler Interview

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Atlanta, GA) in August 2013.

    Interview

Three step interview process: two telephone interviews, then a final face-to-face interview. The telephone interview was a generic platform of questions to make sure that you can actually put together sentences. The face-to-face was only intimidating due to the heat in the room. For some reason it was burning up in there. The questions that were asked were very basic, entry-level questions.

    Baggage Handler Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Chicago, IL
    No Offer
    Positive Experience

    Application

The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Chicago, IL) in August 2017.

    Interview

Applied, A day or so later did video interview.. then about 2 weeks later got in person interview. Simple process, But i don't think i got it. Most people on here said they got hired on spot, and group interviews but in chicago for O'hare it was one on one with managers. But they said 3 weeks you will get a call after we review your resume and look at others too we interview. So from that i believe i didn't get it if people were hired on the spot. Delta seemed a bit picky for baggage handler (Not so great of a job) position compared to other companies. I felt the interview went well, i have good personality clean record. My work experience has been up and down jumping between jobs, they told me well you have at least some experience here even tho it's not alot. I feel if i had direct experience doing the same job i would have been hired fast. To be honest i rather hear a yes or no right there or at least the next day. I didn't have time to wait so long when i was trying to work fast as possible. So that is what i didn't like there, plus i heard you have to take some agility test which is Silly, cause the company i'm with now same duty, doesn't require that test. So i believe if you have the experience in any airline, you will likely get the job. Probably will hire you on the spot too.

    Interview Questions

    • They ask you lot about your old jobs in detail, they are picky with that. And ask you lot of questions on how you handled certain situations you came across in good detail. It was more than the video interview questions. Much more   2 Answers
