    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Detroit, MI) in March 2017.

    Interview

I applied March 23rd, did my HireVue interview March 29th and received an email today (3/31/17) at 6:57 pm for a f2f interview request. I am worried because I didn't reply until 7:33pm because I was in the middle of cooking dinner and didn't see the email right away. I know replying 35 minutes later doesn't sound bad, but I have heard people on here say that you have to be quick because it's first come, first serve. I pray I replied in time. Has anyone else had a f2f interview? If so how long after re)receiving the request did you apply? I'm so nervous! I applied for DTW (Detroit).

    Difficult Interview

    Application

The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Phoenix, AZ).

    Interview

I received a HireVue interview request a week after applying, and weeks later, I received the F2F interview request. I replied 30 minutes after receiving it, and was told all slots were filled. I was shocked to receive an email yesterday inviting me again to the F2F, as when I applied last year, I received a 'someone else' email. This time, I replied WITHIN ONE MINUTE- IT WAS STILL TOO LATE! I'm not sure what the magic code is, but if you are actually scheduled for a F2F interview, tips would be appreciated. :)

    Application

I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (New York, NY) in April 2017.

    Interview

I applied march 28th. Got the video interview a 3 days later. Then april 4th i got the invitation for a ftf interview and i choose to go today( april 12th) Everyone who did their review here for cs agent was pretty much right, they ask the same questions from the video interview! another guy and 7 were only asked 5 questions..The lady interviewing me did mention i should answer using the STAR method.. 3-4 of them were the same questions from the hirevue web interview. The one question that i didn't expect and they did not ask in the video interview was: "Tell me about yourself". Everything else was from the video interview . Just give the same answers and viola! They do NOT remember your video interview answers haha!! Once i got to the 3rd question i was no longer nervous. After that , she told me to wait in the office and she will be back. 5 mins later she returned and said we would like to give you an offer and after that i went to another room to fill out paperwork, give my ids , do my fingerprints and then get the paperwork for the drug test and background test. Also there is a "physical test " which is really just you carrying 50-70 pounds bags to on point-another and how fast you can do it and she said they put you on a treadmill but only on incline to walk up a hill. It was really like any other job interview. I think some people made it seem worse than it really is and that is why people are getting nervous. The training is 4 weeks long m-f. So just practice your answers and you will be fine!

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines in April 2017.

    Interview

I did the pre application, was then asked to comeplete a assessment. After the first assessment I was asked to complete the 2nd assessment. Two days later I was asked to comeplete the HireVue interview. A few days later I received an email at 6:00pm to choose my preference for a interview time slot. I responded with in two minutes at 6:02 with my face to face time slot. I did not recieve an email back immediately but on Monday I received a message saying that the interview time slots have been filled. I don't understand how I missed this opportunity because I responded within TWO minutes. There was no way for me to respond quicker than that. Every day I was constantly checking my phone for the email so that I wouldn't miss it because I heard that this happen. I really don't know what to say about how fast to respond to the face to face interview time slot request because I responded literally within two minutes. The email also said that they will contact me as soon as more time slots are available which isn't going to happen. I will just have to wait until they post more jobs and apply again. Good luck everyone!

Applied and a few days later received an online interview to complete with 4 easy questions. It was an automated online system so you do not interact with a real person. Still waiting for a response.

    Interview Questions

    • -Give an example of when you had to work with a group to complete a task.
-Name a time or situation when you were under stress or a difficult situation and how you worked through it.
(the other two questions were of similar nature but I do not remember exactly what they asked)

    Difficult Interview

    Application

The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines.

    Interview

Applied on March 25th. Received an email 1 day later asking me to complete a personality assessment. Was not asked to complete a work/education history application until a week and a half later via email. The email implied they had been waiting on me to complete the application, so look out for that. I completed this on a Wednesday, and the following Monday was asked to participate in a video interview through an app/company called HireVue. This is NOT a conference call. It is one-sided only. The app presents 4 questions to you on the screen and you have 30 seconds to think about it. Then a 3,2,1 countdown begins and BAM, you're viewing yourself in a front facing camera to answer these questions. You have 2 minutes per question to answer, but can end the questions earlier. I had trouble using the iPad version of the app and had to use the iPhone version instead. 24 hours after the video interview, I was called by atlanta (404 area code) to book a face to face interview at the airport.
