I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Detroit, MI) in October 2015.

Interview

They require the applicant to take 2 assessments, if you pass those you are send an email to take a video interview with your phone or laptop. Unfortunately, when I got to that step the position I was interested in was closed.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Knoxville, TN) in July 2012.

    Interview

First you take on online test. This requires about 30 minutes of your time. You are immediately informed if you pass the test. If you pass the online test, then you will set up a time for a phone interview. The person who conducts the phone interview is not an employee of Delta - Delta uses an outside company to weed through the applicants via the telephone interview. I was asked to describe a difficult situation on a job and explain how I handled it. If you pass the phone interview you will be told at the end of the call. You will be told to wait for an email or another phone all to set up a face-to-face interview. The time lapse between the phone interview and the face-to-face interview email/phone call is a couple of weeks. When you get to the face-to-face interview you will be taken into a room with two Delta employees. This was where it got awkward because neither of these people had ever interviewed anyone before and they admitted that they didn't know what they were doing. At the end of the interview you are told you will hear from them either way in the next two weeks. I never heard back from them. They were so inept and nervous I actually wonder if they filed my paperwork correctly. It was bad.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Boston, MA) in March 2019.

    Interview

The first section of the application process was fairly easy. You have to fill out a long questionnaire about yourself and work ethic. The wording on some of the questions are a bit tricky and vague, but the goal is to make sure you're telling the truth and fit the company standards. If you pass that section they email you to set up a video interview. This might be a new thing, but the recorded video interview wasn't as stressful as I anticipated because you could record an unlimited amount of answers before you submitted it. I was told by a friend that you only got 3 tries, but thats not true. There were 6 questions total and there was plenty of time to prepare a decent answer. I'm still waiting to hear from a manager, my application states 'under review' I applied a month ago.

    Interview Questions

    • Name a time where you noticed something or someone that didn't adhere to company branding standards. How did you handle the situation?   Answer Question
