Ramp Agent - Ready Reserve Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Denver, CO

    Positive Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Denver, CO) in August 2017.

    Interview

I followed the advice here and did the practice online interview questions over and over until I was comfortable recording and remembered to look into the camera. I dressed business casual and made sure the background was nice looking. I put a note on my front door "Please do not knock or ring bell, baby sleeping" to ensure a quiet recording. The questions were similar to the practice questions. As everyone has suggested, use the STAR method when answering. It's been a couple weeks and I just received an email to schedule a face-to-face interview. They offered me several time slots all on the same day. So I'd recommend keeping a flexible schedule while you wait to hear from them.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took a week. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Chicago, IL) in August 2017.

    Interview

Phone interview on HireVue. Awkward experience at first because I'm not used to recording myself talk to nobody before. Next thing I know after submitting the interview, I got a call for an in-person interview, and that was easy as well.

    Positive Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (New York, NY) in July 2017.

    Interview

Did the online interview first which was in March and a month later got emailed for the f2f interview but because interview spots fill up quickly, you have to be on top of your email so you can respond quickly. Unfortunately the first time they emailed me I responded an hour later and was told that spots were filled and they'll contact me again when the oppurtunity presents itself again. Fast forward 4 months later (July) I get the email again! I immediate replied and the next day I got the confirmation email saying that my spot was secured for a f2f email. You watch a few videos while you wait for someone to interview you and don't be nervous they're really nice. They want you to use STAR format so practice that! And you'll be all set to go. Got the job on the spot..

I applied online. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (New York, NY) in July 2017.

    Interview

I am still going through the process, but wanted to share before I forget. I applied online which included doing 2-3 assessments asking questions about what would you do in scenario xyz, agree or disagree with personal opinions (i.e agree or disagree? Success is determined by who you know, not what you know). After completing those, I got a message that I passed and would be contacted if they wanted to go to the next step with me. A few days later I got an email stating that I moved onto the next phase and they'd like to have me submit a video interview. The video interview is done through HireVue and is pretty simple. You login from the email, it gives you a question, you have 30 seconds to prepare and then it records your response which you have 3 minutes to give. 6 questions total.

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Miami, FL) in July 2017.

    Interview

I applied online and submitted both the application and assessment on July 2nd. I was invited to do the online hirevue interview on July 7th. Unlike most of you who prepared by reading the questions on here I didn't know what to expect and winged it. I was very nervous and uncomfortable and I'm sure they could tell. I think it's more so that it's timed and that put a lot of pressure on me. The interview consisted of 6 questions. I'm still waiting to see if I'll be invited for a f2f interview
