Commercial Planning and Activation Executive Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in London, England (UK)
    Declined Offer
    Negative Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Diageo (London, England (UK)) in May 2017.

    Interview

Interview with line manager. Very poor communication from HR and the interviewer himself. The deadline for when I would hear back about whether I had got the job or not kept being pushed back and back and I kept being fobbed off onto different members of the team and struggling to get hold of anyone for updates. They failed on promises they had made about when I would hear back and then just completely ignored my phone calls and emails. Complete radio silence and so I have taken another job with a different company. Very poor form and poor indication of what it's like to work for the company.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Diageo (London, England (UK)) in April 2016.

    Interview

Great process. It consisted of online tests which were straightforward and fairly quick. Then there was an online interview which was quite strange as there was noone at the other end. This was followed by an assessment centre. The assessement centre was really good, everyone was very friendly and we were kept informed throughout the day. It consisted of a short intorduction to the company, followed by an ice breaker, followed by a quick test, followed by a pre prepared presentation, a group project/presentation and finally an interview. It was from about 9am-2.30pm so not too long!
