Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Disney Parks & Resorts.

Interview

Interviewer was very nice and asked questions about steps of service. They just wanted to get an idea of if you have ever served before. Then placed you in situational questions to see if you would be a good fit for the company should something unexpected arise.

    Interview

Very easy interview with an incredibly chill interviewer. She went over my previous work experience then looked at the available positions and asked me where I wanted to work. She asked me some questions about my experience with wine and if I was comfortable handling cash.

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Disney Parks & Resorts (Lake Buena Vista, FL) in July 2014.

    Interview

Online, schedule interview day/time, 30-60 min interview. If it's not the job you want, they have other positions you may be interested in. They treat you with respect, and it was fairly casual and friendly.

    Interview Questions

    • Nothing too difficult, unless you are trying to apply for a position in which you are not qualified for.   Answer Question

    Negotiation

I was given several options for what I was seeking. I chose what seemed to suit my long term goals, as opposed to the immediate openings.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Disney Parks & Resorts (Lake Buena Vista, FL) in July 2014.

    Interview

Pretty simple, basic serving questions. Experience is a must except in some circumstances where they allow in house promotions to serving with no experience. Already working for Disney is a huge plus and can almost guarantee a job serving there. The interviewer is not and in many cases has never been a server so as long as you sound confident and act like you know what your doing you'll likely pass the interview.

    • Name different types of wines?   1 Answer
    • Name things you do to be more efficient as a server?   1 Answer

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3+ weeks. I interviewed at Disney Parks & Resorts in September 2008.

    Interview

Disney is pretty straightforward, either you have the skill set or you don't. Many attempt to "shmooze"the interview but if you don't have the actual experience, they can easily tell. Disney servers make good money and stay busy so it's a matter of they need to make sure you can handle the load.

    Interview Questions

    • service standards are the mainstay, again, either you have the background experience or not. Disney is willing to give you a shot if you have the background, but can't afford to take a chance on "no experience"   1 Answer

    Negotiation

not much in negotiation, it's a tipped position
