Application

I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Disney Studios (Burbank, CA) in March 2008.

Interview

You will talk to several individuals at a variety of levels. Find out, though, who really has the hiring power. It may not be your direct supervisor. Be energetic and friendly, but not fake. They like people who have a genuine like for Disney. Find out why the current opening is vacant and how long it's been posted internally. If it's a recent posting then you probably don't want to spend much time on pursuing it because they will look for internal candidates first. Be ready to talk about working in a matrix organization because the company is very matrixed, especially on the technology side.

Not much negotiation - a few % on salary, that's it.
