      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Disneyland Resort in Jan 2018

      Interview

After applying I was sent a web based interview. Immediately after that, I was able to schedule my phone interview. The phone interview was very short and I was told within a few days I would get an email to schedule an in-person interview. It's been three weeks and I haven't gotten that email.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Disneyland Resort (Anaheim, CA)

      Interview

I first started out filling out the application online then was emailed the same day to do an assessment, after that I was asked to schedule a phone interview which I initially missed due to my current job and having to fill in for someone who decided not to show for their shift. Thankfully Disney was understanding and allowed me to reschedule my interview for the following week. The next week the phone call went great, the gentleman I spoke with was very nice and asked basic questions about the park and wanted to know my general knowledge of the park. After that we chit chatted a bit and then he scheduled me for an in person interview on Thursday (two days from the phone interview). I went to office in downtown Anaheim and had a little trouble finding it because from outside you could not tell this was a Disney building but once I got inside I was not disappointed. 3 if ya were given facts about different things that they sell and informed that we would do a role play later on after the tour. We took a tour of the large building showing us where we would be working and what everyday life is like for the employees there and then went into the group interview. They asked us each the same questions some to get to know us and others were situational questions on how we would react and resolve guest complaints.

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Disneyland Resort (Anaheim, CA) in Jan 2018

      Interview

I’m no sure how to feel about my phone interview experience. I definitely felt a little cheated. Before my interview I had 5 days to study my interview questions and just go over whatever they’d ask me, I did my research on potential interview questions on several different websites for a couple of days. When I received the call she started by asking about my previous call center experience and when I told her about it she cut me off mid sentence to tell me that it was really nothing compared to the volume Disneyland received.. which I know is true but it was really weird and rude the way she did it. After I chat it up for a bit she asks me to name all the Disneyland hotels, all the locations guests can meet their favorite character and all the dining locations the characters can meet the guests as well. I definitely didn’t see that one coming, I’m a regular at Disneyland but from the top of my head I couldn’t name all the locations. That’s something I definitely thought would be taught during my training, I guess not? I named a couple and told her from the top of my head I couldn’t name the rest. She said that’s something I need to know but she understood it’s something that is learned over time, even though she said that, she did end up offering me a different position because I was apparently not knowlagle enough even though I have the experience, I honestly feel like if I knew these questions beforehand I would have received the offer even though I felt like she was in a bad mood. So to anyone waiting on an interview for this position, memorize these questions and you’ll have an offer (:
