    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Dropbox (San Francisco, CA) in February 2017.

    Interview

I was first contacted by a university recruiter to take a coding challenge. I took the coding challenge and was then contacted for an on-campus interview. I was also given a list of things to prepare for. I had a one hour on-campus interview that involved coding on my laptop. About two hours after my interview, I was offered an on-site interview in San Francisco. Since I'm not local, all my expenses were paid for and covered. I scheduled my on-site for about three weeks after my on-campus interview. My on-site consisted of one behavioral, two technicals, one lunch chat, and a product demo. I received an offer about a week later.

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Dropbox (San Francisco, CA) in March 2018.

    Interview

First completed an online coding challenge, then did an on campus interview and then did an on site interview in SF. The first interview was not very interpersonal and the interviewer was not particularly friendly. The on site interview consisted of two technical interviews in which you code on the computer and one personal interview in which they asked about previous projects and favorite classes. The onsite interview was difficult, but everyone there was very friendly and welcoming and I could tell the company has a good atmosphere.

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Dropbox (Seattle, WA) in January 2018.

    Interview

I was first asked to do a coding challenge on hackerrank, then had an on campus interview. (Applied through campus recruiter). The interview was fairly easy, and the question presented was straight forward. They don't expect you to come up with the optmized solution at first, but they do help you reach it.

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Dropbox in February 2018.

    Interview

Applied to the general software engineering internship and they moved me to the launch internship due to lack of experience. I completed the hackerrank challenge they sent me, and then did a phone coding interview with them the following weeks. Interviewer was not really helpful at explaining the problem thus couldn't complete it in the most optimal way.
