Interview
Their interview process is extremely unprofessional.
This position was originally posted last month, but they failed to find a candidate that met their needs so they reposted the position. Shortly after reposting, I received an email to schedule an initial phone screening - this is where things became very unprofessional. The individual who interviewed me was not an employee of Dying with Dignity nor were they an HR representative, recruiter, etc. I was interviewed by a random university student who barely responded to my answers and hung up on me at the very end. A few days went by and I heard nothing so I followed up and I was informed that I did not move on to the second round.
This was the most unprofessional interview process I've dealt with. It's completely absurd to me that I was declined a chance to interview in front of a panel when my phone screening was done with an individual who is a literal university student. My qualifications matched their job requirements and I expressed how much I believe in the cause as I have a personal connection to the organization. Yet, that was not good enough so I'm really curious as to who and what they're looking for because clearly, they don't know themselves.
