First stage is a phone screen, straightforward, right down to business. You go over your resume, why you're interested in the company and your skills relevant to the job posting.
- Why are you interested in Gallo? Can you give a brief overview of your resume?

Hiring process is confusing and a very long process. There’s no communication while your patiently waiting. Almost gave up & accepted another job. Once in the process goes quickly & the wait is worth it
- Work History & availability for possible overnight shift

Anonymous Employee
I interviewed at E. & J. Gallo Winery
The interview was very straightforward, no trick questions. Asked about school experience, modeling experience, and some standard statistical problems. Interviewers were extremely friendly. I received feedback and a response from the hiring manager within a few days.
- What coding languages am I familiar with

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at E. & J. Gallo Winery (Tampa, FL)
Very in-depth with 3 rounds of interviews, the 3rd round being a recruiting conference with a social interview format. This included staying in a hotel for 2 nights with all other candidates, interviewing with 4 company directors, attending happy hours, and giving a board room presentation.
- What leadership experience do you have and how would you apply it to this role?

Interview process was thorough and communicative. I can tell this company is organized and professionals. It was a good process and I would recommend to peers looking to work in the alcohol industry.
- An example of a past win

Anonymous Interview Candidate
I interviewed at E. & J. Gallo Winery
The interview was in-person and lasted for about 30 minutes. It was very formal and conducted by 2 people. They asked about 7 questions before thanking me and letting me go.
- How did you hear about the company?

Anonymous Interview Candidate

Interview process was very typical run of the mill questions. Two people - one actually in the sales management role and an HR person - hard to gauge what they’re actually paying to. For the time investment - which was fairly minimal - it was good practice.
- Describe a time where you displayed perseverance

Anonymous Interview Candidate
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at E. & J. Gallo Winery in Mar 2023
Still in the process, but round one I felt really good and comfortable. A very fluid convo. Round two I was a bit taken back when the director asked me what my parents did for work and what other companies I was interviewing with, and what I did over the weekend. I tried to remain vague almost because it felt inappropriate to say other companies. I think the end mission was to learn more about me and how I am a leader but still I was taken a bit back. Still waiting to hear back if I get chosen for round 3 conference.
- What do your parents do? Why this university? A time you had to make a difficult decision?

Anonymous Employee in Modesto, CA
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at E. & J. Gallo Winery (Modesto, CA) in Mar 2023
The process was great! The team was bale to easily describe what they were looking for and allowed for elaboration in necessary areas. I would recommend having questions ready, especially for the internships.
- They asked about my education and how it related to the position.

30 minute in person interview for first round and 30 minutes in person for the second round interview with the district manager. I believe the 3rd round of interviews are similar, and include a role play
- Tell me about a time when you showed leadership?
