I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at E. & J. Gallo Winery in October 2017.

    Interview

    Process took about 2-3 weeks
Invited out to my campus for interviews
Really loved that the interview took place at my university campus, definitely gave me more confidence as I was familiar with the place and faces that I saw. Great process and the interview session was very conversational and my interviewer gave me great info about the company and position throughout the interview. It really didn't feel like a formal interview but a great conversation with someone to learn more. Interviewer was very attentive

I applied through college or university. The process took a week. I interviewed at E. & J. Gallo Winery (Commerce, CA) in October 2017.

    Interview

I applied through a university campus career website. They were very accommodating with the first interview. I was unable to make it to their corporate office and was able to set up a Skype interview. It was very laid back. The interviewer asked a few basic questions and then it continued with a casual conversation about interest. I immediately found out that I had been moved on to the second round of interviews.
The second round was a little different. I had two 30-minute interviews. Each session had two interviewers and it was a little more formal. While there were more "interview-style" questions, it was still a casual situation. I completed the second round interview a few days ago and am waiting for a response.

    Application

    I applied online. I interviewed at E. & J. Gallo Winery in October 2017.

    Interview

I received an email to set up a phone screen for the ABM position. The Recruiter LinkedIn requested me, and I felt that this was a good sign. Ten minutes prior to the call the Recruiter asked to reschedule for the next day. I was not available the next day but I suggested another day. I did not hear back so I followed up. Again, I did not hear back so I followed up again. I still have not heard back but have seen the Recruiter posting things on LinkedIn. I would not want to proceed with this company as they are clearly unprofessional and do not value peoples time.

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at E. & J. Gallo Winery (Modesto, CA) in October 2017.

    Interview

Standard interviewing process. However, HR department not as "professional" as interviewer claimed it is; nearly five weeks later I received an email indicating that I was not chosen to pursue a career with my #1 choice for employer -- not once, but twice I received this email (talk about salt in a wound).

Interview questions were VERY simple. I imagine that a high school student could answer their questions correctly.

    Interview Questions

    • Why Gallo?   Answer Question
    • What is the current ratio? Acid-Test Ratio?   Answer Question
    • Describe a time you had to deal with a complex problem. How did you solve the problem, and what were the alternatives you considered?   Answer Question

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at E. & J. Gallo Winery (Modesto, CA) in October 2017.

    Interview

I had an on-campus interview first. Then i was flown to Modesto, CA for a set of second round interviews. The current TMDP people were nice, however the niceness seemed insincere because there were so many candidates and you couldn't really feel who was being genuine or not to you. The interviews were just okay. The interviewers did not seem to really care about us for the most part. The best interviews were with the higher management (VPs etc.) because they seemed to actually want to get to know you. Gallo took us all out to two very nice dinners, had a tour of the campus/winery and had 5 interviews altogether.
