It was all virtual, because of Covid. I had 2 phone interviews with the HR leader and a video interview with the leader of technology. My 4th interview was video with the CEO. He was late and didn't turn on his camera, so he could see me and I couldn't see him. It was a little Wizard of Oz- like. It was more interrogation than conversation and I wasn't given the opportunity to ask questions and he ended our conversation 30 minutes early. 2 days later, I got a system-generated email saying I wasn't being considered for the job. It was really disappointing because the first 3 interviews were great. It's one thing not to get a job, but the CEO of this company was not respectful or considerate at all. I guess I should be glad I found this out before going to work here. Everyone else was lovely and I felt great chemistry and connection.
