I have had a great experience with Epic so far. They have the hiring process down to a science, yet I still felt that the majority of people I met with actually did care that all my questions were answered and I was kept well informed. From the time I applied to the time I was flown in for an on site interview, about 3 weeks passed. I consider this very quick for such a huge company with an amazing number of applicants.
The night before the interview, there was a dinner offered with a current employee which was extremely beneficial! It made me less nervous and more well informed about Epic.
The interview day was quite long, but fairly casual. Software demo, project manager information session, project manager interview (probably the most formal of the day), presentation (very awkward- nobody made any facial expressions), site tour (the facilities are amazing, huge, and VERY impressive), lunch, Go-Live group scenario, break, HR final interview/wrap up, then driven straight to airport. Currently still waiting to hear back.
Everyone was very nice and overall the day was a great experience! Epic seems to actually care about their employees, the community, and the world around them- which I love.
P.s. Reading through MANY Glassdoor posts helped me be extremely prepared for all questions I was asked.
