    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Equifax (Alpharetta, GA) in June 2017.

    Interview

Had phone interview then moved on to onsite interview with hiring manager both times. Never heard back after onsite interview. Just some random HR guy who was "assigned" to me said i was still being considered when i emailed for follow up. You would think they could say No when its obvious their not selecting you.

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Equifax (Atlanta, GA) in May 2017.

    Interview

I applied online for the Benefits Specialist position I saw on Indeed, about four days later later I received an email and a call to schedule a phone screen in which I was very excited because I read about Equifax and with my background and education I felt really positive this would be a great opportunity for me. The day of the phone screen arrived, and the gentleman began asking tons of questions and honestly the first five or six questions are typically the questions that are asked on your application, so he asks basic questions like "Will I need sponsorship now or in the future, then he asks me what my current salary is at my job now?? What are my salary requirements? How much vacation time do I get at my current company? I didn't feel like he was serious about the phone screen at that point, I felt like I was taking a survey, the phone screen was only maybe 15 minutes then at the very end he decides to ask " Tell me a situation where I had to escalate a problem? Almost like he felt like he needed to throw that question in to make it seem legit. I have had numerous phone screens in my life and that was the strangest and no one has asked me in a phone screen how many vacation days do I have at my current job, I really didn't feel too comfortable nor positive with Equifax after that, and the guy tells me I would hear back within a week of course I haven't , no surprise there.

    Interview Questions

    • Have I ever applied or worked at Equifax? What is my current salary at my company? How many vacation days do I get a year at my current job? Give an example of when I had to escalate a problem.   Answer Question

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Equifax (Atlanta, GA) in May 2017.

    Interview

I applied on line when I saw this position on the indeed website. I was pleasantly surprised to hear from a recruiter just a few days after applying who wanted to arrange for a phone screen interview that would last about 15 min. I spoke with a very nice gentleman that asked a series of questions about my experience and work history. He then ended the screen interview by asking the question about handling a difficult situation, I must have done well because just a couple a days later I received an email asking for my availability to do interview #2 with the hiring manager! Fingers crossed I hope I will be able to say I work for Equifax in the very near future!

I was contacted by a recruiter 23 days after I initially applied for the position online. I did a phone screening with her, which went well, so a week later I had an interview with the AVP. Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Equifax (Atlanta, GA) in December 2016.

    Interview

Applied internally - had 3 interviews with outside department senior leadership. The before submission to hiring manager. However, the 3 people I interviewed with never submitted their reviews, nor did internal HR acknowledge. Hiring manager was not aware of my application. Very poor internal process.

    Interview

I applied online first, and 1 month later, I got a phone call from the recruiter to screen for a phone interview. During the screen, I was asked for some general questions. 1 week later, in the scheduled phone interview, I felt it did not go very well, and 2 weeks later got a rejection letter. It was disappointed.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Equifax (Atlanta, GA).

    Interview

I interviewed over the course of 3 hours with 7 different people who would have been my coworkers. The interview process was pleasant, though HR has been completely uncommunicative with me and has ignored my emails (more on this below).

    Interview Questions

    • The interviews were very conversational and we went over my background, skills, and what I was looking for in my next position. Although I did not get an offer from Equifax, I tried to get feedback from the HR department. My assigned recruiter indicated that they would provide me with feedback within 1-2 weeks. This was over a month ago. I have followed up with them several times, and they have ignored all of my emails. I am not upset that I was not chosen (these things happen--you are not going to get every job you interview for), but I think their HR department needs to handle interviews and follow-up procedures more professionally. I now have a negative impression of Equifax, and when I went through the interviews I had a very positive one.   1 Answer

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Equifax (Alpharetta, GA) in August 2016.

    Interview

I applied online and I had worked for exact same position in a different zone. I got a call after 2 weeks and a phone interview was set up. It lasted 30 min- a little about my background what technical qualities etc and then the manager told me about the position they were trying to fill in. Very friendly yet professional manager. I was told I will be contacted if they find me ok to proceed in 2 weeks. 3 weeks pass and no answer and I go about my own business. Then suddenly they email me and ask to come in for onsite interview. Interviewed with project manager and 1 team member and 1 sr technical team member. Very professional people nice to talk to and made me feel comfortable.

1 wk later get an email saying not hired.
