I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Everest College (Burr Ridge, IL) in April 2010.

    Interview

Group interview consisting of 10 applicants and 2 interviewers. Everyone had to stand up and introduce themselves and explain why they would be a good fit for the company. Once that was completed you were to pick one person from the group and explain why you would hire them. After that, general questions about the job were asked and then a very quick tour of the school (one building, very small). Took 1 1/2 hours.

    Average Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Everest College (Chicago, IL) in November 2010.

    Interview

There was an initial phone screen which was very basic. The next step was a group interview, it seems that everyone makes it to this step. You go around and introduce yourself/talk about your background. They basically try to 'scare you out of the job' by telling you what's expected, the salary, etc. to see if you are interested. From there a 1 on 1 interview is schedule. The questions are situational, 'tell me about a time you were rejected' etc. They'll also ask why you want the job and why you think you'd be good at it. It's a standard interview really.

    Interview Questions

    • Tell us about a time where you were rejected?   2 Answers
    • How would you deal with a student that is unsure of coming here?   Answer Question
