I applied online. I was contacted within a week. Did some research on Glassdoor about questions and process. I was really hoping a lot of the what I read wasn't accurate but unfortunately it was. I arrived early because I read they have you fill out the same application I did online. It was 100% accurate, I wanted to leave when I began but th faculty and the same that passed through the lobby when I was filling out the application were great.
After I finished, I was called in for the interview. Questions were simple, guy was friendly. He then asked me to sit outside in the lobby and wait. He came back and asked if I would accompany him to Olive Garden to meet the manager, of course I did. Got to Olive Garden and we approach a table outside with this guy sitting at the head of the table smoking a cigar like The Godfather and a team of young people who looked like his children sitting around him. The questions he baffled out showed he wasn't ask knowledgeable as he wanted to appear. It was clear he didn't like my answers.
The team of young people didn't look up from the plates. The organization isn't ready for PR position because they do not understand what the true role will entitle. I had to ask him to repeat his question several times because they weren't logical or really questions just him blabbing on about banks and loans. I walked away not feeling comfortable with the ethics of the organization under his leadership.
The position wasn't for me. My professional opinion is the organization is under questionable leadership. Research about the company supports.
