Interview
I had a technical phone interview and was contacted by a gentlemen who was very easy to get along with. Although he did have a slight accent which made it difficult to understand him at first it wasn't a problem later in the interview.
The job qualifications stated:
* A strong understanding of networking topologies, components, standards, and programming was required
* A strong understanding of C/C++ was required
* A strong understanding of data structures and algorithms was required
During the interview very little time was spent actually discovering how much I knew about networking topologies, components, standards, and programming. A quick question was asked about TCP and setting up a connection but most of the interview was spent on my mastery of C/C++.
