Easy Interview

Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at FCB Global.

Interview

On-campus meet-and-greet at career fair, then quickly received an interview and was passed around HR coordinators. Immediately offered the position the day after. Easy process through out as the Human Resource coordinators were very friendly and open to meeting everyone. Many peers were asked to come to the office for an interview but I was specifically able to do it on campus.

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at FCB Global.

    Interview

After meeting with FCB at my University's career fair, I was contacted to interview a few days later. The interview was casual and I spoke with 2 employees, each for about 15-20 minutes. They make you feel very comfortable and it was very evident to me how much they love their company. I was contacted a month later with acceptance.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at FCB Global.

    Interview

There was one skype interview that lasted 30-45 minutes after scheduling it with a campus recruiter. The interview was pretty standard of advertising- where you have to form opinions on current campaigns in addition to standard interviewing questions- strengths, weaknesses, etc. Get ready to talk about your school and what marketing/ad experience you have on campus!

    Interview

Two Skype interviews. One with HR and one with an Account Manager. The HR person for new hires now is extremely friendly and easy to talk to. Spent a lot of time talking about personal interests.

I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at FCB Global in September 2014.

    Interview

I interviewed on-campus through a university-sponsored career fair. Before career fair I networked with FCB alumni and talked with them about their internship program. At career fair I had a short conversation at their booth and submitted my résumé. That night I was called for an on-campus interview the next day. The on-campus interview lasted about a half hour in length. It took them over a month to respond with my offer.

    Easy Interview

    Application

The process took 1 day. I interviewed at FCB Global (Chicago, IL) in November 2009.

    Interview

Did on-campus recruiting. It started out with a behavioral interview conducted by an entry-level member of the company. Then they selected among these people for a second interview with the recruiting coordinator. It was pretty low key-- they seemed enthusiastic about the company and about what they did. Asked your basic marketing questions: what's your favorite brand, how would you market product X, etc.

    Interview Questions

    • What brand do you think is doing really well out there right now?   1 Answer

    Negotiation

They're pretty open to negotiations, but the salary level is fixed for interns.

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FCB Global (Toronto, ON (Canada)) in March 2010.

    Interview

Initially contacted my their corporate HR by email for the initial discussion -- that one took about 1.5 weeks before we actually had the conversation. Went in a week later to meet with senior managers. The first manager had not reviewed my resume prior to the interview and, knew nothing about my background, skills etc. which made for a rather simple interview of exchanging work related banter without any real substance to the conversation. However, I found her to be a delightful person in enthusiasm and demeanour. Her manager was scheduled to interview me next but had already left for another meeting.
