Filled online application form. A few days later had an email inviting me to do a video interview with someone from HR. From there had a first face to face interview in the office with 2 senior managers, then a few days later a second interview with more of the team. Was about 3 months from applying to getting the offer - a lot of that was also down to me not being able to make interview date though

Even though I told them in my first call with HR that what's my salary expectation is and what is my current salary.
They said it's possible but after all the interviews which took 2 months they told me your salary expectation is too high and we can not offer you that and the most they can offer was even less then my current salary.

They called and setup 20-30 mins telephonic hr interview. They ask for 3 timing option and setup in one of them.
What I observe is that they have rejected me because of my salary expectation is at par to their standard.

After the application I was contacted by HR dept. and asked to download Zoom to attend a first round of interviews.
The first interview was with the HR (30 minutes during which they just try to understand motivation and expectations) and the second with the senior counsel that asked about my experience and gave me a lot of details about the role (both very professional and pleasant).
I was supposed to have a final round meeting key people for the role in Barça (they came from HQ) but I declined just because in the meantime I received another offer.
The process is pretty fast and HR is responsive and helpful.

I applied for this job based in Barcelona, the process took 2 weeks, the first interview is with the recruiter which is a casual chat where you get asked about your carrier, experience, salary expectation, etc ( classic questions ).

Then comes the tricky part about this process, which is the technical test, I'm another person on the list who think is an unfair one. You get an email saying is supposed to take no more than 2 hours but in the readme file says no more than 4, they also tell you to make it beautiful but don't polish your code too much. I was honest enough to do it in about 4 hours and a half but there is no way do a great job in that gap. I believe my solution was more than good for the time taken, the only weakness was the UI which didn't look great, especially when you have to display more than 300 objects on the screen coming from two different APIs, I could have spent the weekend making it look much better, refactoring, etc, but again, I was honest with the instructions.

The feedback from my taxi was "After an in-depth discussion and careful consideration we regret to have to inform you that we have decided to proceed with other candidates that meet our requirements more closely. This is in no way a judgement of your expertise or personality but merely related to our specific needs for this position."

Only skype call, quite friendly and sympathetic. The call was about 30 minutes. Not very detailed. Everything about the background seemed interesting, but still got rejected. But over all the recruiter was young and nice.

first interview with recruiter, he was super nice and just ask questions about my skills and experience, then task and also it was easy, after that they told me that there will be meeting to discuss the results but rather than that they asked me programming skills which not required for this position
