I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at FabFitFun (Los Angeles, CA) in Aug 2017
Interview
Started with a 1 hour chat with CTO followed by a 1 hour technical chat with lead engineer and a behavioral 1 hour chat with several engineers at once. Really liked the people I met.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at FabFitFun (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
coding questions before the in person interview. Then two technical and two culture interviews. The first technical interview was pair programming, and the next technical interview was a design interview.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at FabFitFun (Dublin, Dublin) in Sep 2020
Interview
1) Screening call with HR
2) Interview with managers
3)Timed coding exercise
4) Technical interview (code review and systems design)
Overall, pretty reasonable process and nice people, however, in the end I just received an automatic email with a "no-reply" address from their recruiting app, without any feedback, just basically informing that I wasn't selected. So then in hindsight, I thought maybe after all they don't have a good company culture where they value people. I was about to reply to them asking for some feedback or reason but when I saw the "no-reply" address, I said, well I think it's not even worth it.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The usual: review your cv, current role, expectations, etc
Code test: return value most found on list, find starting indices of all occurrences of a pattern, etc basically the usual hackerrank exercises.
