Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FinancialForce.

Interview

From start to finish it was a very smooth streamlined process, that moved very quickly. I was referred by a FinancialForce employee, and had a first round phone interview with a company recruiter to discuss my background and the position. Within 24 hours, I had another phone interview scheduled with one of the Consulting Managers. I hear back from the recruiter the same day, and was informed I would be having phone interviews with another Consulting Manager as well as the Director of my department. Once those interviews were complete, I was invited for an onsite interview with one of the Consulting Managers that I already interviewed with. I received an offer the evening after my final interview (5 interviews total - 4 phone, 1 in person). All parties were extremely professional and really conveyed the positive company culture. I felt that the interviews were more like conversations, than the "typical job interview".

Interview Questions

  • As mentioned there were no real typical interview questions. All rounds were more of a conversation about my professional background, the open position, and the company.   Answer Question

    Interview

Entire process from start to finish was very smooth and efficient. The communication process with the recruiting manager was very thorough. I always knew where I stood throughout the entire process. Usually within 24-36 hours after an interview (sometimes even sooner), I was informed whether I made it to the next round. There were 5 rounds of interviews, which included the initial recruitment screen. Everyone I spoke with was extremely courteous and professional.

    Interview Questions

    • There were no real difficult or unexpected questions. It was more of a conversation with everyone instead of the typical, standard interview questions.   Answer Question

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at FinancialForce.

    Interview

The hiring and interview process was good, but lengthy. The company wanted to make sure that I was well vetted by managers and peers. I thought it was quite good and gave me a great look into the company and what I could be doing. The questions asked of me were fair, but tough.

    Interview Questions

    Negotiation

There was little to know negotiation.

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at FinancialForce (San Mateo, CA) in May 2011.

    Interview

I had an initial interview with the HR manager. I wasn't extremely serious with taking this job, until I had two phone interviews with a consultant and pre-sales engineer. I was impressed with their knowledge, attitude, and overall excitement with the products they were working with. I then had a follow-up face-to-face with the General Manager, and the team members I would be working with. After this, I was certain that this was the company I wanted to work for.

    Interview Questions

    • I was provided with a task, to be completed in my own time, to gain a better understanding of Salesforce Administration, and whether this as suited to my skill-set.   1 Answer

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FinancialForce in February 2014.

    Interview

tough interview process. 3 rounds, with a mix of interview types: some more traditional questions, some more conversational and work style focused. They seem to really be looking for a specific type of person and experienced with proven professional work ethic
