I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Genesys in Mar 2022
Interview
I met some of the Genesys team at a networking event and decided to apply after hearing about their workplace culture. I applied around February 19th, received a request to interview on February 23rd, and did my interview on March 1st.
The interview was over Zoom with a few hiring managers. They did a really great job putting me at ease and were overall very friendly and easy to talk to! It felt like a conversation and I enjoyed getting to know them.
I received my offer later that week and had a little over a week to sign it.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Genesys (Galway) in Jul 2025
Interview
Shortly after I made my application, I got a call from their HR to organise an interview time. I then had a Zoom interview with their software engineering team. The team was very friendly yet professional. Although I didn't get the job on this occasion I really appreciated how their HR recruiter got back to me quickly with real feedback about my interview, I would happily interview for another role with Genesys.

I applied through college or university. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Genesys (Chennai) in Apr 2025
Interview
This was an on-campus opportunity and consisted of 4 rounds.
Round1: Online assessment. In this round there were questions from aptitude, cs core subjects and one easy to medium coding question based on backtracking.
After the OA, i got short listed for an interview on the next day.
Round2: Technical interview-1 which lasted for 1-1.25 hrs. After introduction, i was asked to explain the coding question from the online assessment
which took about 30 minutes. After that i was asked to explain a project from my resume.
Then the interviewer asked me verbal questions from linked lists, pass by reference in cpp.
He told me to inspect the browser and explain the html tags and code in the browser console(xor of an array).
After this interview i got short listed for the next round.
Round3: Technical interview-2 which lasted for 1-1.5 hrs. This time a senior frontend engineer took my interview, and after introduction he asked detailed questions from my resume and how i implemented some functionality. He asked me to explain OOPS concepts which i did pretty well.
After that he asked me questions about react framework where he did not find my answers satisfactory.
At last he gave me a puzzle where there are 8 balls in which one ball has greater weight than others and there is a weighing machine which can be used at most twice and we have to find the heavy ball. I tried my best so solve the puzzle using various approaches which he found satisfactory.
Final verdict: Rejected
I believe i was rejected because the internship was for a frontend role and i did not satisfy the interviewers expectations.
