Application
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GetYourGuide (San Francisco, CA) in October 2018.
Interview
The interview process was quick and efficient. I was a referral but I believe it starts with a phone/in-person screening followed by a technical interview. Then there was a cultural fit interview, concluding with an interview with the VP of Sales.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at GetYourGuide (Zürich (Switzerland)) in November 2016.
Interview
Two phone interviews, 30 min. Video test, 5 questions, about 60 min. 9 to 5 test day, meet team, did 2 tasks and presentation. After doing the 1st task, had a look in their code. Was the first time I got depressed in my life during a test day. They have no coding standards, use old and outdated technologies. I thought I would never say this but the current place I work at is light years ahead. I already wasted my day and did not want to be rude so I did the 2nd task to test them on their knowledge and reasoning. I used a textbook example which I applied to the task, they had trouble understanding it, I could see them struggling with it. Not what one would expect from senior programmers but from spaghetti coders. The place is career death you will lose what skills you have, just stay away.

Interview
First, I applied to GYG via their website. Then I got invited to take part in a one-sided video interview - and I need to admit it was my worst and the most stressful recruitment experience ever.
Even though you have all materials and tutorials from GYG, then the recordings have a very limited time (of 1-3 minutes) and only one take for each, which make it unbearably stressful.
Since it is not a role of an actor, TV presenter or vlogger, therefore applicants do not need to have a skill of conducting great monologues with their smartphones. It makes one feel like a part of a fully automatized process.

I applied online. I interviewed at GetYourGuide (Berlin (Germany)) in August 2017.
Interview
First step was a video chat with one of the founders.
Second, they sent me a home work task. The task is so specific, detailed and sophisticated that it almost seems like they are trying to solve (or at least compare alternatives) their current business solutions via candidates for free. I gave up the task at this point! Didn't continue with the process.

The interview was fine. First there was a call with the HR and a technical interview with two engineers. Who did a live coding session with me and they asked me there questions.

Interview
After applying online, they called me for a telephone interview as a first step of requirement process. She started with asking questions about my technical background, current study and previous work experiences. Then she talked about the position and their expectations from an intern. One week later they sent me a rejection email.

I applied online. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at GetYourGuide (Berlin (Germany)).
Interview
The screening was a 30-minute call with a hiring manager which was on time and went as planned.
The assessment was to create a presentation and the questions were very vague and unclear. However, enough time was given to complete it.
The onsite interview was the worst experience, they were wasting my time since the minute I entered.
No one was there at the welcome desk. 20 minutes after signing in and later after asking a few times they realized they invited the candidate for an onsite interview. One recruiter wasn't even in the office and was doing home office while I was sitting at their office. Later the hiring manager couldn't even focus on the answers given and was highly distracted by everything else in the office.
They were ever unprofessional and unorganized.

Interview
Good interviewed followed by ZERO feedback. I chased four times for an outcome, but they just blanked me. Frustrating and disrespectful considering the time I invested in them. Nice people, but bad lasting impression .

It was really quick. The conversation with Marcus was great and fluent. The face to face interview was also really nice. The whole process was just 3 weeks. Join to GetYourGuide was very interesting.
