    Application

I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Globaltranz (Scottsdale, AZ) in June 2016.

    Interview

Applied via GlobalTranz website. A week passed and they called but I had missed the call. I tried calling but couldn't get through and was dissappointed. A few days later, they called again and I was able to answer. They were able to work with my schedule and scheduled me a phone interview that day due the time constraint I was under. I was then scheduled for a in-person interview the following day. I met with the hiring manager, another manager, and Analyst. All one-on-ones. I received a phone call later that day offering me the job. Overall, the process was very professional and accommodating to my needs. Ultimately, I turned down two other job offers and decided to accept their offer due to the growth opportunities I foresee in the near future.

    Traffic Analyst Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Globaltranz (Scottsdale, AZ) in December 2015.

    Interview

The interview process was relatively straight-forward; either you have the skills and the motivation, or you don't. One phone call, one in-person interview with the hiring manager. They asked about my experience using Microsoft Excel, and asked if I was comfortable performing detail-oriented work. I think they tried to gauge my degree of self-drive/motivation, because the department really isn't about micromanaging. I got the job offer within about 1-2 weeks.

Standard Background Check, but that's about it.

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Globaltranz (Scottsdale, AZ) in August 2015.

    Interview

I applied one evening around 6pm (Phoenix, AZ.) and got a call the next morning from their recruiter. He asked me several questions (kind of like a quick 3-5 min phone interview) to gauge my communication skills and then asked me to come in the following day for an 'information session' (located near 101 and Indian Bend). They shot me an invite and an application to fill out and bring in to the information session. I was there 15 min's early but others dragged in...we waited about 5 min after the scheduled time to wait for the mission candidates. It's in training room that has about 4 rows of 5 seats with computers at each seat. The recruiter and the presenter were in there. The presenter showed a power point and went over everything, they showed a 'culture' video that you can easily find on youtube. After that they give you a tour around the building ... kind of looks like a wolf of wall street setting....people bouncing around, yelling, dropping f-bombs and just typical call center type of activity. After the walk around they sit you down in a sitting area located in the middle of the floor and then bring you in one by one for an interview with the presenter and another person. I will mention that it's a good idea to bring a few copies of your resume with you. They tell you that you can leave them in the class room...but I wouldn't. Because as they sit you down they will ask who has theirs with them. I was the only one who had theirs so I went first. Hand each interviewer your application to review. They aren't prepared for you so they will go off a list of typical interview questions. (google) Some behavioral and others opinions... I would maintain eye contact and make sure you are prepared for any question and have a good answer. I found it extremely easy though. They are laid back...but that doesn't mean you should be. Make a good impression. I would go business casual (slacks and a polo tucked in {at very least} wth some decent dress shoes) although there were some guys in ripped jeans, t-shirt and worn out sneakers.....I have no clue if they got the job or not. But I would imagine that they didn't make a great first impression.

    Interview Questions

    • -Tell me about a time that you had a conflict at work and how did you resolve it?
-If we asked your previous/current manager, what would they say your biggest flaw is? What would they say your best asset is?
How do you feel about getting here at 5am?
Very last question - - - "If I gave you an infinite amount of money and resources, with one goal to accomplish...tell me what your first step would be......i would want to know how many light bulbs were in all of the warehouses in Phoenix, AZ. .........?"

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6+ months. I interviewed at Globaltranz (Chattanooga, TN).

    Interview

They were very easy to speak with and I still talk to them often. Mostly thanking them for bringing me onboard. The hiring process was pretty cut and dry. Everything that was promised to me came true.

    Interview Questions

    • When I was asked "When do you want to come onboard" At the time, I only had 18 months experience in the industry and I was making good money. It was tough to walk away from a six figure income, but I did and I am glad that I did.   Answer Question

It was a very easy process and I wished that I would have come on a lot sooner than I did.
