I applied online. I interviewed at GoDaddy (Tempe, AZ) in January 2018.

    Interview

I thought the interview process was very smooth! They start with the phone interview and then onto a face to face. You start with a tour then they will sit you down ask you typical customer service questions. Everyone was very nice and didn’t pressure at all it was very easy going!

Internet Sales Customer Service Consultant Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Mesa, AZ
    No Offer
    Negative Experience
    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at GoDaddy (Mesa, AZ) in November 2017.

    Interview

Applied online with two higher ups names for referrals. The next day I got an email stating they want to phone interview me. They had it set up already. So then I answered the scheduled call for said interview. In my application and resume, I clearly stated that I have 0 background in call centers. I have 8 years face to face customer service management experience. Also, in their printed requirements, it stated that there is no prior experience required... yet I got denied the job BECAUSE I did not have enough experience in call centers. Seems redundant, right? Yeah. I’m disappointed to say the least. It was unfair to the upmost degree. I really wanted that job. And I was under the impression that the interviewer was very pleased with me. Seeing as how he reminded me 10 times how highly recommended I was. Also, I was told by my friends who are currently employed there, that they had no prior knowledge or experience when they were highered. And that 5/6weeks of training was enough for them to learn the job and be successful. So, FYI... you do in fact need prior experience in order to get hired for the job. I am upset. I very much wanted the job and was willing to do whatever it took. But that was not enough.

    Interview Questions

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GoDaddy (Scottsdale, AZ) in September 2017.

    Interview

Panel interview with 5-6 individuals, it wasn't very organized, some awkward silences like they didn't know who should ask questions, one individual had a sour look the entire time and the other person had his arms crossed the entire time which shows a disinterest. Not to mention, when he asked questions his voice trailed off.

I applied online. I interviewed at GoDaddy (Tempe, AZ) in May 2017.

    Interview

A phone interview that asked a few questions about sales experience and customer service experiences. Asked about previous employment and schedule availability. I had a good experience throughout the interview process and I was really impressed with the work atmosphere. I was excited to start as soon as possible and was even offered a day shift which I have heard is not the normal. They want you to have open availability.
