    Software Developer Intern Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Sunnyvale, CA
    Accepted Offer
    Positive Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at GoDaddy (Sunnyvale, CA) in March 2014.

    Interview

I met a recruiter at the career fair, who offered to schedule an on-campus interview on the spot. After my on-campus interview, it took them about 2 weeks to get back to me, where they offered me an on-site interview. The on-site took me through 4 rounds of interview (backend, frontend, algorithms, design) where I got through a variety of questions since I was interviewing as a Software Developer Intern.
I had an offer deadline that same week, so they got back to me the next day with a phone call.

    Interview Questions

    • My on-campus interview had tough question about displaying the top 10 tweets (from the whole world) from the previous day on a website.   1 Answer

    Negotiation

I negotiated my offer deadline to be a bit later, but the salary I received was solid.
