    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Goldman Sachs (Chicago, IL) in May 2013.

    Interview

I did a 1 hour phone interview split between two different Goldman Sachs Associates, who held the same position I was interviewing for. Felt more like a conversation with questions mixed in. They did a good job of explaining the position, expectations, benefits, etc. They didn't ask any questions to see if they could trip me up, but they did want detailed answers. They seemed to value a sales background/acumen above anything else for this position.
