    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Goldman Sachs (Salt Lake City, UT) in November 2014.

    Interview

Gauntlet-style, rapid-fire interviews; as many as 5/day, 30 min each. Sharp people, well-articulated organizational strategy and extremely thorough in detailing out the role expectation(s). All interviews (3 rounds) were either via phone or 1:1 video conference. Not without hiccups but cutting edge interview process. Interviewers were based in Salt Lake City, New York and London. Very positive experience and highly recommend the opportunity if offered.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Goldman Sachs.

    Interview

The GS process is pretty intense, with MULTIPLE rounds of interviews. It isn't odd that a mid-senior role might involve 15+ interviews. Hiring is decided by consensus amongst the interviewers and they all discuss a candidate's +/- points prior to passing the candidate on for further interviews.

    Interview Questions

    • Why GS vs. any other organisation? (It is expected that a candidate can articulate their rationale clearly & concisely)   Answer Question
