    Project Manager Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center (Oregon) (Corvallis, OR) in October 2015.

    Interview

The online application process was so time consuming - the form logs you out every few minutes and they run both a credit check as well as a 118 question survey even before the interview.. The job has been posted for over 3 months still and NO contact at all.. so by the time they called I was no longer looking

    Interview Questions

    • Q 118 question survey - nearly all were to determine if you get along with others, if you will work second shift or weekends, do you like meetings and how much energy do you have. They don't warn you that this is part of the process and there is no assurance that the test maps to the skills required for a job in IT. Given the interview process I wouldn't want to work there.   1 Answer

    Reasons for Declining

the interview process was so slow that I didn't want to work for them by the time the interview happened.

    Imaging Tech Aide Interview

    Positive Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center (Oregon) (Corvallis, OR) in March 2012.

    Interview

Interviewed in a tiny office in the Radiology department. The department head and the office manager were present. I was really nervous, but they were friendly and the interview felt fairly informal. After the interview, they gave me a tour of the radiology department. I applied online, heard back by phone to schedule the interview within a couple weeks. After I interviewed, I didn't get a job offer for about a month, so thought I didn't get it. Was surprised when they called. After that, had to pass a background check as well as a drug screen. That process went by fairly quick. Then, it was paperwork with the HR department, followed by CPR classes and other training before I finally started to work.

    Interview Questions

    • First, they asked the standard "Tell us about yourself" question. Later, I was a little surprised that they asked the typical strengths vs. weaknesses, but they did. They inquired about past work experience and how I thought those experiences would help in this position. They wanted to know why I wanted the job.   1 Answer

    Pharmacy Technician Interview

    Anonymous Interview Candidate
    No Offer
    Positive Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center (Oregon) in December 2008.

    Interview

It was a brief phone interview for a couple of pharmacy tech jobs in my area. I was told that I am competing with a huge number of other applicants who are more qualified than I am. I was also told that I should continue to apply for every tech post I see. I am following that advice and hope to make it in sooner or later.
