      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Grant Thornton UK (Bristol, England) in Nov 2018

      Interview

The experience day involved a group exercise and a 1:1 strengths based interview. The group exercise was centered around the Vibrant Economy Index and you had to present your discussion back to interviewers. The 1:1 interview was strengths based as opposed to competency based but overall very informal and conversational interview.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Grant Thornton UK (Glasgow, Scotland) in Oct 2020

      Interview

After an initial online application form, I was invited to complete SJT tests. I was quickly told then I had progressed to the video or digital interview stage. Finally I reached the case study stage - step 4/5. This step was the most challenging and ultimately I did not pass. However, the process was very clear and candidates, regardless of outcome, were given advice at most stages which was amazng.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

I was asked to to respond to taking criticism about a piece of work and how I would take this feedback on board. I also had to refer to a time where I had to convince people of an idea and how I would do this.
