    Planning Manager Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Heineken in June 2014.

    Interview

After I apply for the position, I was qualified for an interview and the recruiting team interviewed me which tooks us an hour and half. Then, again I was selected from 10 qualified candidates for another second round and final interview with the country manager. I had the most interesting and challenging interview with the country manager which took us almost two hours. However, I wasn't able to hear from them for two weeks and since I got another chance, I just considered Heineken as if I am not hired and left - I prefer the chance I got later.

    Interview Questions

    • The most challenging and unexpected question I was asked was " Explain me how did you do the planning and logistics activities in your position of ' Planning Officer' at ETC". And he wants me to explain him in diagram and shortly the whole process of my duties. That was new for me and challenging, but at the same time interesting.   2 Answers

    Sales Representative Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Houston, TX
    No Offer
    Negative Experience
    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took a week. I interviewed at Heineken (Houston, TX) in September 2016.

    Interview

I was under the impression that this would be a 1 on 1 interview, but upon arriving I noticed that it was a hiring event. We were taken into a room for a group interview and told to make a marketing display with boxes of beer. There were several pushy candidates who would not allow some of us to do very much. Afterwards, we had a 1 on 1 interview.

    Interview Questions

    • The questions dealt with how we handled certain situations in sales and overcame obstacles, or how we would pitch the products based on some advertisements they put on the table to look at. The 2 interviewers I had were very abrupt and made me uncomfortable. One kept telling to answer only using the "star format". Having never, ever heard of this I was unable to do that and the interview ended up being very confusing and embarrassing for me.   3 Answers

    Sales Specialist Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Heineken (San Francisco, CA) in October 2016.

    Interview

Went through 2 phone interviews an IQ test then an in person interview where I met with three different groups of people. The in person interview was pretty easy and they made it comfortable. It took them about 2 weeks to get back to me. When they did finally they said that I did not get the job but they liked me and wanted to see if I was willing to relocate if a position opened up. I said I was willing to relocate. However, its been about two months and I haven't heard back. I'm guessing it was just so I wouldn't write a bad review about them on glassdoor. I would say that overall it was a good experience and I thought the interview process was fair and the in person interview was actually quite fun. If the opportunity came about again, I definitely would not mind working for Heineken. However, if you are hurting for money the interview process takes a little to long in my opinion.

    Interview

Initial phone screening with HR to understand background and current position. Phone call with hiring manager to understand more about role and your experience that could pertain to it. Final panel interview on site with presentation. There was a personality and skills assessment prior to the panel interview. Panel interview allowed a great opportunity to learn team dynamics.

    Interview

H.R is still old school asking applicants to bring a copy of CV on the interview day. This only means they did not review thoroughly nor gave a copy of the CV sent to them, to the hiring manager to prepare good things to talk about during the interview. Also did not give any feedback after the initial. They will just keep you hanging! Not even an email nor text whether it's regrets. Unprofessional H.R Philippines team.
