I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Hello Alfred in Jul 2018
Interview
Applied online and heard from someone on the talent team, via email, within a week. Once on the initial phone screen, it was evident that that interviewer was basically indifferent to our time on the phone. It felt as if she read off a script while maybe filing her nails on the side, complete disinterest. Then mentioned, after I spoke about myself and why this company, that my experience wasn't really in line with what they were looking for. She apologized for the misunderstanding through the job description, but since I was so "overzealous" she wanted to give me a shot. Thank you for the pity, but maybe a spot of further clarity on the job description would assist in weeding people out.
The beginning of the process was great. The recruiter was very friendly and set things up very quickly - later she left though and a new recruiter was involved. All of the people I met with were awesome as well and I really enjoyed speaking with them. However after multiple interviews and submitting a take home assignment I finally received a completely generic email rejection. After so many rounds and conversations I expect a personal email from an actual person.
