    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Hewlett-Packard (Bengaluru (India)) in January 2011.

    Interview

I was offerend a profile of FICO consultant and was asked questions related to finance primarily.
There were two rounds of interview, first one was the technical round and the other one was the HR round.

In technical round I was asked about what is the beta of a stock and how to calculate the price of a share. I was asked about the various project evaluation techniques like NPV and IRR.

In HR round, it was a personality test. I was asked about weather I have acted as a leader in past. I was also asked about what skills are required to be a consultant. They started by asking me to describe myself and anything unique about myself.

    Interview Questions

    • How do you calculate the share price of a company?   1 Answer
    • Tell us something unique about yourself?   1 Answer

    Reasons for Declining

The profile of ERP consultant (FICO) is not a hardcore finance profile. I dont have any desire to be a consultant either. I wanted to work at a place where there is more action, like a bank for eg.
