Contractor set me up with a phone screen, had to talk about some school projects I did.
Went to an onsite, thought the spread of interviewers was actually kind of nice. One dev focused, one test focused, and one product-design focused.

Got the offer, told them I had to decline b/c I'd already accepted something else, and they were willing to sweeten the deal enough for me to change offers.

Phone screen and then had an interview on-site. The on-site interview was very messy and chaotic since they had just come back from an all company meeting. The lady interviewing me didn't even have her notes and she later had to track down the recruiter. Told me that they would make a decision by the end of the following week. Never heard back until I sent two emails to the recruiter inquiring about the status of the position. Very unprofessional to leave me waiting like that.

initial phone call, in person interview where they teach you a whiteboard presentation, then you come back and present the whiteboard. Overall, nothing too crazy, just make sure you do the proper research and practice the presentation.

I applied on LinkedIn for a job posted by Formula Resources for Python Developer in the IoT group at Hitachi Vantara.
I had 2 phone screens out of which 1 was with the staffing firm and other was technical interview with one of the Senior Developers at Hitachi.
After the technical screen I got called for an on-site interview which was with 4 different people and was for about 4 hours in total.
It was a good experience meeting the team and understanding the product.

Frustrating process. The company seemed uninvested in the process, much less invested in it than me, the candidate, anyway.
10 min HR call, followed by a 45 min phone screen with an engineer. We talked about basic OOP, inheritance questions, he asked a couple easy linked list problems on codeshare. Ended with him telling about the products they work on and me asking a couple queries I had. Was a positive experience.
So far so good. This is where it starts to become a little downhill. The recruiter asked for my availability for a ~4hr onsite interview, I replied immediately. He did not get back to me for a few days so I had to ask him again. An onsite interview was scheduled for around 10 days later.
The recruiter said the company won't be paying for travel expenses, which was a bummer as a college student and a surprise considering the position was a full-time one.

Anyway, the onsite interview included 5 rounds, back to back:
1. Engineer talking about the products and company's (HDS) progress over last decade
2. Engineer asking about projects and basic java coding on whiteboard
3. A manager talking about everything about the company
4. Engineer asking some behavioral questions and then giving a design question which appeared as an algorithm question on the first glance. It was: Build a deck of cards. Then he added a lot of add-ons: how to shuffle the deck, choose winner b/w two cards, etc. I realized I had solved the initial question but the design let me down for the subsequent parts.
5. Engineer asking me to "teach him Angular" as I had worked on that before. Explained it through a project I did on whiteboard.

Recruiter was non responsive for 10 days after this even after I mailed him twice. I finally gave him a call which he didn't pick up, he then said the company is moving forward with other candidates.
The experience left me with a bad taste in my mouth, mainly because of the recruiter: Money spent, time spent and a lot of frustration and hopes dashed in the end. Would not recommend applying here.

It was 3 steps. First telephone screening then on site interview then interview with hiring manager. Hiring manger was he last person before that all other team member had a chance to interview

The recruiter often took over a week to respond to emails. The interviewers were all men, which turned me off to the company a lot. The interviewers were late and rushed; one interviewer did not remember the questions he intended to ask.

Phone interview scheduled but the recruiter never called me. I understand things come up at the last minute in the office, but I emailed to follow-up and see if it could be rescheduled and the recruiter never responded. Very unprofessional.
