The job posting did not ever mention that thay are specifically hiring for a Technical BA. The posting even mentioned "translating requirements into functional specifications". So by default the applicant will assume that it's for a Functional BA role. Hr did not even set the expectations for the interview. Hr only mentioned during our call that it's for technical BA. So during the screening, hr was already asking super technical questions like you're an experienced developer. Be clear and exact with your job postings. Provide details on your requirements so you won't mislead applicants, fcs. Have a separate posting for each role. And setting expectations BEFORE the interview will always be a big help to applicants.
