    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Honda (Raymond, OH) in February 2017.

    Interview

I applied online at the careers site on the main website. After a month I received an email from the human resources contact asking if I could come in person to meet with the legal department and managing attorney and the team for an interview on the next day as it came up quick at a specific time with the location. The location was at the Raymond, OH plant - a good hour and 15 minute drive one way from my house. It is very japanese and they all wear white.

    Interview Questions

    • What has been your experience in intellectual property law and patent applications? Specifically with your most recent position as well as managing contracts?   1 Answer
    • They also asked several questions about my general background in my resume. And they provided information on the job and set up of Honda and the IP department. They asked me specifically "what did you do" as opposed as what the team did. they were very direct.   Answer Question
    • What is your experience in reports - running them and sql and excel and other technologies? I could barely understand the other two who asked this as they were japanese.   Answer Question

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Honda (Raymond, OH) in June 2008.

    Interview

The interview was very laid back. We went over my resume and talked through all of my extracurriculars and research. Also we talked about my experiences working on cars. Despite the uptight look of the uniforms everyone is friendly and relaxed.
