Horizon Media Jr. Developer interview questions

The interviewer was 10 min late. Instead of asking about my background and experience, He asked about my salary expectation right in the beginning. When I said I don't have a number right now, he replied the company is on a strict budget for this role and asked again the number. I gave a range which is pretty standard for a junior role, he responded he's going to talk to the team about the salary and get back to me. He didn't even tell me their range and asked if I would be okay with it. It shows this company pays below market average and the whole interview wasn't handled professionally.
