The first would be to get information on the complaint. Once you know the reason for the complaint, you can start to resolve the issue. With that, the most important thing you can do is communicate your solution with the customer, either directly or via customer service. The customer can deal with the issue if they know that you are working to resolve it. Send updates until the matter is resolved.
