The process overall was challenging but well organized. I had a few rounds - a phone conversation, a meeting in the office, two role plays over the phone, and a final interview with multiple people. Each step required quite a bit of preparation, but the most important factors were understanding the company, the culture code, the product, and the methodology. I worked primarily with David Fernandez and was blown away with how attentive, transparent, and personal he was throughout the process. He made sure I was prepared every step of the way and always made me feel comfortable asking questions or voicing concerns that I would have otherwise been hesitant to bring up.
David was certainly not the only one, though - everyone I met at HubSpot was extremely welcoming and genuine. The final interview consisted of multiple, short, one-on-one interviews. I expected this to be an exhausting day filled with unexpected questions, but I was thrilled to see that each person I met with was really just interested in learning more about me, my experience, and why I wanted to join HubSpot in the CSM role.
