IBM Data Scientist Interview Questions

Initial case study is given to assess if you are a good fit for future interview. The case study is of average level difficulty. The time given to complete it is 2 hours.

Short and crisp. Mostly basic stuff. The process resembles any interview where some short questions are asked. Few questions are in the side of the above average. Overall basic questions in model building, dataset creation, data cleaning etc. Case study was offered in the beginning - questions were around that case mostly. Then went into sidelines.

Just asked to describe previous projects and answer a business case question. There was no technical question but the interviewer expected you to describe it on your own. Be aware to be very specific regarding your models or you will not get the offer.

It was very arbitrary. They give you an online coding test. And just said they are going to go with other candidate without much telling you why. First they were going to ask about one subject and then ask another instead.

They are two-round interviews. The first round is a video interview and the second round is divided into two parts. One is the technical part and the other is the behavior part.

Son muy directos con lo que buscan, primero son las preguntas técnicas en español, luego preguntas técnicas en ingles y por ultimo en que se estaría trabajando ,pero te hacen sentir en confianza, muy buena entrevista

Was invited for a Hackerrank challenge which consisted of SQL, timeseries forecasting, basic python coding question and Statistics mcqs. The duration of test was 75 mins which is too low.

There are three questions from Hackerank, the hacker rank preparation is kind of useful. I am applying for a data science position I am just in the OA phase now. will update once I complete the process.

A friendly, technical and informative interview process. Was asked about python and machine learning concepts as well as culture and team work skills. However, the job scope was explained vaguely.
