If given 8 balls and one weighs more than the rest, how do

  you solve which one weighs more given only two opportunities to use a two sided balance [scale]?

group the eight balls into two groups and pick 3 balls from each group weight them on scale if it found equal then pick the other two balls and weight them and u'll get the wrong ball if not then pick the two balls from three balls which weighs more and weight them if they r equal them remaining one is the wrong ball or the which weight the more
