If you had to deal with naysayers in a change-of-management

  situation, what would you do?

Resistance is a normal human reaction to change and is often a result of a lack of communicated vision and general awareness about what the change means for the employee. I would first ensure that the sponsor vision is clearly articulated then work with the naysayer manager/supervisor so that they can understand the issues and build trust with the employee.
