I applied through college or university. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Insight Sourcing Group (Atlanta, GA) in October 2018.

    Interview

Started with a light lunch and a talk from one of the partners. After lunch, each candidate had seven back to back 30-minute interviews with various employees and partners. Had one excel analysis type case question at the end.

    Application

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Insight Sourcing Group (Atlanta, GA) in October 2017.

    Interview

Resume drop on-campus (they typically recruit from G-Tech, Emory, and UNC though I think they're expanding target schools as the firm grows).

There's an initial 1-hr phone call with two employees from the energy team consisting of behavioral/fit questions. One small case starter at the end.

The final round is around half a day at the HQ in ATL. You and the other candidates rotate through different interviewers (both from the energy team and in the regular practice) for mostly behavioral/fit interviews; there's 1 case that's pretty straightforward and simple if you do your HW on the basics of utility consulting.

The behaviorals are really just to make sure you're a good fit for the firm and to learn more about how you thrive and what you want to accomplish coming out of college. They're honestly really fun and when you aren't interviewing, you're chilling in a conference room with rotating ISGers that you can just chat with. Everyone's a pleasure to speak with!

You'll hear back within 2-3 weeks (as of Fall 2017). I really enjoyed the process and best of luck to those of you who got an offer and accepted!

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Insight Sourcing Group (Atlanta, GA).

    Interview

Insight Sourcing Group has a strong company culture. The interview process is as much about cultural fit as it is about qualifications for a particular job. During two rounds of interviews, I met with six different people. Of those, only two people asked about my skills and prior experience in similar roles.

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Insight Sourcing Group (Atlanta, GA) in December 2015.

    Interview

I applied when I was a student at Georgia Tech. It started with a couple in person interviews (15 minutes each) where you are asked basic behavioral questions. Then you're brought into the office for an intensive half day, 8 round interview where you meet with 8 different employees. Each round was behavioral or a case. Over all a great process and awesome culture

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took a week. I interviewed at Insight Sourcing Group in September 2017.

    Interview

Relatively easy to get the interview, just a resume drop. First round interview was interesting. It focused almost entirely on who I was and how I came to choosing this position. There were no case interview questions and only one "odd" question. Overall, pretty easy.

This allows their employees to have a better work/life balance and their client's also appreciate not having a huge expense/travel cost burden. - Exclusive Focus - ISG's focus on procurement and strategic sourcing brings their clients greater value at typically a less expensive cost than more general larger consulting firms. - Measureable results/impact - ISG's results are measured by hard-dollar savings, providing it's clients with results on EBITDA impact that can be directly attributed to ISG's activities. - Low turnover - ISG has lost fewer than 5 employees to other positions since 2002, which means that knowledge transfer and project experience amongst it's staff remain in-house. - Culture that spawns creativity and innovation - ISG is continually looking at innovative means to drive cost reduction and create value for it's client's. All employees have an opportunity to drive innovation and creative solutions. - Great work/life balance for a high performing consulting firm - Ability to participate in one of the most interesting non-profits imaginable, Witness to War (www.witnesstowar.org), which was founded by ISG's President, Tom Beaty. - High growth company - increase in revenues and employee size by almost 40% each of the last 5 years.” – Full Review
