From my experience, there was no urgency with their interview process and the lack of feedback/being ghosted is unacceptable for any role you interview for, let alone a Senior Manager role in the Talent Acquisition function. Very poor candidate experience.
The Director of Talent Acquisition reached out to me initially via LinkedIn and after a few weeks of messages, I replied with interest and had a phone screen with that person. After that conversation went well, I had a second conversation with another Director of TA based out of Minneapolis, that also seemed to go well, I was then invited to come onsite for 3 separate interviews: One with the Chief People Office, one with the VP of Rewards, and one with the local Director of TA I first spoke with. The CPO and VP conversations went ok as it was hard to get a good read. My last meeting with the Director of TA went well, I thought, and she mentioned she would follow up with the others I met with and reach back out with feedback the next day. A few days go by with and haven't heard anything, so I reach out to the director on a Friday asking if any feedback yet. She said they are dealing with end of the year merit increases and didn't get a chance to catch up with everyone, but would on Monday and would let me know.
Fast forward, It has been just over a month now since my onsite interviews, and I have been ghosted! No feedback whatsoever! The fact that this is in the Talent Acquisition function makes this even more disappointing. TA professionals should know better and strive for a great candidate experience, which this was anything but with Inspire Brands. Makes me think twice about visiting any of their establishments. They mentioned they were struggling with their TA function, but this is way below par.
