    Interview

    Very informal and to the point. The interview process indicated the job summary, the duties, and the environment and what they would have expected from you. It was very inviting and not intimidating. The people were very nice and to the point. The duties were not negotiated and were not hard on both your body and mind. It was very do-able work.

The job position included teaching the general chemistry, conducting recitations and performing lab experiments. Grading exams and holding one help center hour, preparing presentations

After that, I was selected and asked to choose the number of work hours. From here, it went smoothly. They liked my work and continued my contract and the research assistant position. Now, I am building tools useful for my thesis as well as my job.

    Sent in my application on the ASC website. I got approved to come in for an interview a few days later. It was very easy. It was with a group of 5 or 6 people, and we all answered the same basic questions. We were emailed by the end of the week saying if we got the job or not.

    The interview process was very casual. This is a University position so there is a wonderful culture of allowing students the opportunity to work and gain experience while rejecting as few people as possible. The interview consisted essentially of a job description, and the hiring manager asking if it would be something you're interested in. It would be helpful to take the mosquito surveillance laboratory.
