Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan (Los Angeles, CA) in December 2014.

Interview

The interviewers were very conversational, with heavy emphasis on fit questions and your story that led you to real estate. General questions about previous experience and it's relevance to the job. I applied through my school, had an on campus interview and superday; the whole process took about 5 weeks from interview to offer. Very positive experience overall.

    Interview

Standard interview process. Applied online, invited to have a brief call with HR, then invited for an in-person interview with each of the team's member (both junior and senior). After the interview I was told that I would hear back in a few days. Got the call from their hiring manager that week and was offered a position with the firm.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan (New York, NY).

    Interview

Initial communication from the recruiter was quick and good. My 2 interviews were scheduled back-to-back on the same day and no additional interviews. My group does not foster a good environment professionally or personally. My office floor is very basic, no perks. Work culture within my group is terrible, but it might not be the same everywhere else.

Long wait to get called in for an interview. The interviewees were very nice. The interview overall was very thorough. First interview was basically getting to know you, what my long term goals are, strengths and weaknesses and etc which took about 30 minutes. After that, a second interviewee comes in and asks similar questions. The overall interview took about an hour.
