I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Jackson Hewitt
Interview
The interview process is fairly simple, they ask you a bunch of simple questions, mostly about your education and prior work experience. Nothing unexpected or crazy, just simple easy questions. The interview process isn't very selective and no one should have a hard time moving past it. The annoying part of the process is the studying and training that is required before you can begin working. You have to take a minimum of 15 hours worth of online tax school courses and then pass a test before you are allowed to work there.
very informal and quick. didnt have any issues with talking or connection points seems like a quick program for seasonal work during tax time and thats good for a lot of people in a small town that need qucik work during the off season
I applied online. I interviewed at Jackson Hewitt (Denver, CO)
Interview
Scheduled an interview and showed up. Interviewer had to type out my responses on their portal. Had typical questions such as how would you describe customer service and your top 3 strengths and weaknesses.
Straight forward, really technical and I had to take an exam to show where I stood on the information being applied. if you have a background in accounting or entry level is a good place to start.
