Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (Laurel, MD) in February 2018.

Interview

I applied online and got an email after 2 weeks for an on site interview. The interview actually went well. I interviewed with 2 groups. No technical questions were asked just some general behavioral questions. After the interview, I met with the HR and I was told one of the groups is interested in me. I was also told they will contact my references and the background check will follow suit. After a while i never heard from them again. I called, left VMs, sent emails no communication until after 2 weeks, the HR sent me a rejection letter. I was shocked and surprised at the same time. Luckily i got another offer with a better company.
