    Got a phone call from HR and scheduled an on-site interview with a chief engineer and a manager. The interview last about an hour, mainly discuss about my background and interests, as well as my resume. The interview when very smoothly, no behavioral questions, but rather focus on my experiences and background, such as knowledge on product development, FMEA and CAD software.

    Applied online and approximately two months later I received an e-mail requesting a phone interview. Had a phone interview with my potential supervisor. From there they invited me to the sales and engineering office to speak with the supervisor and two other directors. They called me a few days later to tell me that I obtained the position. The offer was contingent upon a successful background check and pre-employment drug screen.

    They seemed pretty relaxed about it. I knew my hiring manager before applying, but I was still given a conference call type interview with several levels of management. Pretty standard interview. Lasted for about 25 minutes or so and told me whether or not the answer to each question was good or bad.

    I had three different interviews with three different groups within the company within the span of two hours. Each asked different questions and gave me a run down of what they do for the company. I have never been so comfortable during an interview before. I got a tour of the labs in the facility and a description of what I would be doing for the different departments if I choose/was hired to intern for them.

    Flew in the night before and was in hotel near location. Breakfast with person I was replacing prior to coming to office so they could give their opinion of my role in company. Once at office, I interviewed with hiring manager and their immediate supervisor who inquired about my passion for doing research and development. I then interviewed with team I would be managing which consisted of two people. Finished up with HR who gave a background on the company and the benefits.

    I was given a call back about my online application and asked to come in for an interview. My preliminary interview was with two Purchasing Managers and an HR Manager. After successfully interviewing, I was asked to come in and interview with two Purchasing Directors and the original Purchasing Managers. My third and final interview was with the North American Purchasing Vice President, whom I interviewed with for an hour. Each of the interviews I was met with about 5 to 10 minutes of warm up discussion followed by discussions about my relevant work experience pertaining to the Buyer Role I was applying for.
